Terms of Service

These Terms explain the rules, responsibilities, and expectations for using PrayAlly. They help ensure a safe, respectful, and trustworthy experience for everyone seeking or offering prayer.

Section 01

About PrayAlly

PrayAlly is an anonymous spiritual support platform connecting Seekers with approved PrayAllies for live, browser-based, five-minute Christian voice prayer sessions.

Prayer sessions are anonymous and are not recorded.

PrayAlly is not a church, counseling, therapy, medical, legal, crisis intervention, or emergency service.

Section 02

Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old or otherwise legally permitted to agree to these Terms.

Section 03

User Roles

Seekers may request prayer without an account.

PrayAllies must create an account, complete an application, and receive approval before serving.

Section 04

PrayAlly Application & Approval

Required fields:

  • Full name
  • Email
  • Password
  • Christian denomination
  • Why you want to serve
  • Availability

Accounts are created immediately and remain Pending Approval until reviewed.

Section 05

How PrayAlly Works

Seekers may:

  • Request prayer
  • Optionally include a prayer note
  • Join a live five-minute prayer session with the next available approved Christian PrayAlly
  • Leave feedback
  • Optionally donate afterward

Section 06

Matching

Every prayer request is matched with the next available approved Christian PrayAlly.

Section 07

Prayer Sessions

Sessions last exactly five minutes.

Sessions occur through PrayAlly's browser-based voice platform.

Sessions end automatically and are never recorded.

Section 08

User Conduct

Users must treat others respectfully. Users may not:

  • Harass or threaten others
  • Solicit or exchange personal contact information
  • Impersonate others
  • Misuse the platform in any way

Section 09

Expectations for PrayAllies

PrayAllies agree to:

  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Respect anonymity
  • Pray in good faith
  • Avoid manipulation
  • Never attempt to contact Seekers outside PrayAlly

Privacy & Anonymity

No names, emails, or phone numbers are shared between participants.

Safety & Crisis Disclaimer

PrayAlly provides spiritual support only and is not a substitute for emergency services or professional medical, mental health, or legal care.

Section 12

Donations

Donations are optional, securely processed by third parties, and generally non-refundable unless required by law.

Section 13

Intellectual Property

All PrayAlly branding, software, and content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Section 14

Third-Party Services

PrayAlly uses trusted providers for hosting, authentication, browser-based voice, analytics, email, and payments.

Section 15

Suspension or Termination

PrayAlly may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or Community Guidelines.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties and without guarantees of availability or outcomes.

Section 17

Limitation of Liability

Liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Section 18

Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify PrayAlly for misuse of the Service or violations of these Terms.

Changes

PrayAlly may update these Terms by publishing a revised version with an updated effective date.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where PrayAlly operates.
